The Annual Pitch Your Passion Competition took place over two days in November this year. It was an excellent event! Students from all classes participated in the event. There were 2o total teams that competed in the competition and the Innovative Ideas ranged vastly. Below are details of the event’s structure:
The pitches were a two-stage process and can be any product/service/idea or project.
Stage 1: November 10 at 6 pm in McCarthy. Student pitches. There was a student panel that voted for the top 10 pitches.
Stage 2: November 15, 11:45 am – 12:45 there was a luncheon with judges panel and student leadership
1 pm: pitches begin.
Stage 1 pitches: 2 minutes; no demos (electronic or otherwise).
Stage 2 pitches: 5 minutes with 5 minutes Q&A from judges, demos and visuals were encouraged.
